Which animal would you like to be turned into if you could not find your perfect mate? This is the thorny issue that has to be faced by the guests in a rather remote and sinister hotel. David decides he’ll be a lobster, his brother being already a dog! In this dystopian near future, somewhere in Europe, single men and women sent to the hotel are each given 45 days in which to find their ideal romantic partner, or be suitably transformed and released into the wild. Help and encouragement are provided by the hotel staff, who gleefully organise all manner of instructive entertainments! However, diametrically opposed to this regime, there exists in the nearby woods a colony of “Loners” with equally bizarre and rigid regulations of their own…Socio-political satire? Off the wall black comedy? Come and decide for yourself!
