It becomes quickly evident that small-time crook Constantine (Connie) is no criminal mastermind! However, he is inclined to delude himself from time to time… This is unfortunate, both for himself and for others, especially when his latest scheme, an ill-conceived bank robbery, goes spectacularly wrong. Having irresponsibly pressurised his brother, who has learning difficulties, into helping him on the bank job, Connie then has to concoct another plan to rescue him after he has been apprehended by the police. After breaking into the prison hospital where his brother is held, Connie inadvertently abducts the wrong man. Then cut to the chase! An adrenaline-fuelled nocturnal chase through the mean streets of New York, with mayhem and danger never far away.
