WMM Women’s History Month Virtual Film Festival 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the cancellation of countless events, including film festivals. In a bid to stand up against this though, some have gone down the virtual route. One such festival is the WMM Women’s History Month Virtual Film Festival, who are offering film-lovers the chance to join in for free.

A little more information can be found below, taken from their website:

“In March, we launched a virtual film festival to commemorate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month and highlight new releases in our transnational feminist film collection.

In the age of COVID-19, we now see it as a way of bridging virtual distance. We are actively exploring how to expand the model and content.

Throughout March, festival attendees will receive FREE access to select films about women from around the globe.”
